The University of Bayreuth is located in the northern part of Bavaria and with around 13.300 students it is still a comfortable size. The entire university is one campus, which creates a friendly atmosphere and supports the exchange between the different faculties. The trainee will be working in Prof. Grünbergers team of five postgraduate research assistants and eight undergraduate employees. The workplace will be at the campus of the University of Bayreuth. As the office is located in the same building as the lecture halls, the library and the university café, it is very easy to get in touch with other students. There is also a cafeteria on the campus, which offers food for fair prices. In case of difficulties finding an apartment for the time of the traineeship, the university also offers rooms for fair rates (they are not always available). it takes only a few minutes from the campus to the city center of Bayreuth, where you have various leisure opportunities.
