Research OrganizationTraineeship tasks
The trainees will be expected to do the research tasks as well as organizational tasks in the project on the collective redress in environmental and consumer mass harm situations. The project interlinks the environmental and consumer protection law issues especially in the field of class action and injuction mechanisms that have been already established by several countries in consumer law but not yet in environmental law. In the environmental law field, the implementation of Art. 9 (3) of the Aarhus Convention is also in focus.Organising ELSA Group

3Additional Information
In the first phase of the project, the existing legal mechanisms will be analyzed and compared. The project is targeted primarily at the Visegrad countries (ie Czech Rep., Slovakia, Poland, Hungary) but the inputs of the situation in their countries are also welcome. The trainees will be expected to research and collect the relevant legislative and judicial materials from different countries and to help with the organization of the international workshop of environmental law and consumer law experts.
